As the Founder and Chairman of The Family Office Association (“TFOA”), a global peer network of single-family offices, Marc has cultivated a community of family office executives and principals representing some of the world’s wealthiest families; promoting education, shared best practices, and co-investment opportunities. Marc J. Sharpe is an experienced executive with a distinguished career spanning family office management, private equity, venture capital, and investment banking. Family Office Education

Conceived and designed the curriculum for an MBA course called “The Entrepreneurial Family Office” which I teach as an Adjunct Professor at Rice University and Southern Methodist University. The course provides an overview of all the major components and challenges of starting, growing, and successfully managing a family office through a mixture of coursework, case studies, and guest speakers.
